Looking to cancel a charge from "Family Radar" or "Famradar"? Another app with a very similar name was recently removed from the App Store and is the source of most charge complaints. Our app launched on April 1, 2026 and bills only via Apple or Google. Check if the charge is from us →
You can request deletion of your Family Radar account and all associated personal data at any time. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
How to Delete Your Account in the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly from the app:
- Open the Family Radar app on your device.
- Tap Settings (gear icon in the home screen).
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog prompt.
Your account is deleted immediately upon confirmation.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your Firebase Authentication account (email address and credentials)
- All location history associated with your account
- Your profile data (display name and profile photo)
- Your FCM device tokens used for push notifications
- Your family group memberships
What Is Retained and Why
Short-term crash and diagnostic logs collected via Firebase Crashlytics are retained for up to 90 days as described in our Privacy Policy. These logs are anonymised after account deletion and cannot be linked back to you.
Can't Access the App?
If you are unable to access the app to delete your account, you can submit a deletion request by email:
- Send an email to appfamilyradar@gmail.com
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Include the email address associated with your Family Radar account
We will complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving your request.
